About Me

My photo
Traveling the Highways and Byways comes from being a female truck driver, traveling across the country. I am now a Milkrun Route Dispatch manager. I love to read the bible, listen to southern gospel music, grow flowers, garden, knit, crochet, and read christian fiction and bible study books. I want to learn more about the Bible. We all have to use our own discernment to learn the Bible, it may not agree with yours, but that is why we all learn differently. Hopefully you find something here that helps you in your learning process too. God bless. P.S. Check out my other Christian Blog at http://biblereadertoday.blogspot.com

I just got back home from another run to Laredo, TX that took me to Eagle Pass, TX then back home.  I love seeing the country, I love seeing Texas.  Texas has a lot of scrub brush, and dry dusty areas,  but I love to see the cactus and the different birds that fly all around.  I love to see the different cultures, and people that I meet.  Some are nice, and some not so nice.  I have had some go out of there way to help me, and others turn there back and walk away.  It is the same everywhere you  go, why can't we all just get along, and except each others for our differences.  Oh well, it will probably never change.  Too many people with their own prejudices.

As I sit here, at home, I hear the thunder outside, I guess it's going to be another rainy day.  We can probably use the rain, so I won't complain.  I love nature and I love storms, especially at night when it is dark, and I sit on the porch and watch God's hand at work.  With lightening streaking across the sky, and thunder so loud you jump.  I love the sounds, and smells of a good storm.

God Bless everyone, and have a good day.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Mom's birthday, and I'm stuck in Indiana and she is in Kentucky. I wish we lived closer, but no such luck right now. I will be giving her a call later to wish her happy birthday. Happy Birthday Mom.

Crazy Weather

This year the weather has been warmer than usual, and not much snow. I hope that doesn't mean we are going to have a buggy year. The birds have been looking for nesting areas, which is really strange for this time of year. I think we are going to have an early spring.

I've been checking out some new knitting podcasts, here is one I found over at www.knittingpodcast.blogspot.com She lives near London, and has a Scottish accent, which I think is lovely. She is at yarnlovers.com If you like to knit, you should check her out, and some of the others.

I tried putting clickable links, but it wouldn't except them. Take care, and enjoy your day.
